Tupper Lake

Hand dyed yarn with speckles of yellow, bright pink, blues, and oranges with a bright tonal purple.

For me purple is a happy color.  Which is probably why I use it a lot! 

Tupper Lake, NY is a happy place for me.  My mother is from Tupper Lake, so as a child growing up we went to Tupper Lake multiple times a year for just about all the holidays, and just because. This is where my grandparents, a few aunts and uncles and cousins lived.  I have so many happy memories from all my visits to Tupper Lake.

So as this colorway came to life I just knew I needed to give it a special name. It felt like Tupper Lake in the spring.  That's when I knew I had to call it Tupper Lake.

Each skein is approximately 100g/415yards 

75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon

All yarn is hand dyed in small batches, so there will be some slight color variations between skeins.  It is therefore recommended to order enough yarn for your project at one time.  You may also alternate skeins every two or three rows, but that is not necessary.
